G&IP Orientation
G&IP Orientation is designed to assist G&IP students in making the most out of their year at USC. The first day of Orientation will be Monday – August 14, 2006. Orientation combines activities offered by the USC Office of International Services with activities offered by the Law School to prepare G&IP students for a productive and rewarding USC experience.
The G&IP Orientation is filled with important information related to academics, immigration regulations, life in the U.S. and at USC, in addition to practical and social activities to help students become more comfortable with U.S. culture and lifestyle. Family members are also welcome to attend various orientation events. The schedule for the G&IP Orientation will be provided at the orientation.
Topics to be covered include:
- Academic procedures and class registration
- English Language examination
- Student services for international students
- Immigration information
- Campus Tours
- Health services and health insurance
- Campus activities (organizations, recreation, entertainment, etc.)
