Welcome to the University of Southern California (USC) Law School!

Whether you are preparing for an LL.M. degree program or simply want to learn more about the U.S. legal system while improving your legal English, our program offers the perfect combination of both basic American Law classes and legal English classes.
With increasing globalization and interaction between countries, lawyers and businesspeople can gain a competitive advantage by understanding foreign legal systems, particularly the American legal system. The Summer Law & English Program will introduce you to the American legal system, while giving you the opportunity to improve your English language ability by classes taught by professional ESL teachers from the USC Rossier School of Education Language Academy.
USC Gould School of Law is one of the most prestigious and oldest law schools in the United States, located on the safe, secure and beautiful campus of USC. Our friendly staff is trained to help you make the most of your USC experience, starting with expedited processing of your student visa Form I-20. We also organize special activities every Friday for participants, such as a courthouse tour, a law firm tour, a museum visit and a Dodger’s baseball game! Students may also spend time independently exploring other Los Angeles attractions.
Our incoming LL.M. students and those who have continued on to other LL.M. programs across the U.S have found our Summer Law & English Program to be extremely useful in preparation for their graduate law courses. I encourage you to join the USC "Trojan" family by participating in our Summer Law & English Program in 2008.
