Summer Law & English students will be able to take advantage of USC's strategic location in the heart of Los Angeles, a dynamic and cosmopolitan city. USC is an integral part of the Southern California region, which is an international hub for business, entertainment and legal industries.Southern California is a young region with boundless energy and potential, and is the most culturally and ethnically diverse region in the world. It is the American gateway to the Pacific Rim, which is emerging as the dominant economic zone of the century. From small biotech companies, to giants in aerospace, shipping, entertainment and fashion, the variety of industries and government agencies concentrated in Los Angeles is unmatched anywhere. And the city offers endless opportunities for fun. Within easy driving distance are Hollywood, Pasadena, the beaches of Santa Monica and Malibu, and the wilderness of the San Bernadino mountains and the California deserts.
